Travelling Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen Lotion
Posted: August 28, 2007Finally my friend Yan Jun received the Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen Lotion. This lotion has travelled many miles across ocean and mountains to reach this part of the world- China Shanghai.
When we started chatting on MSN about the hot weather this Summer. He commented that his daughter is very tanned now. She has been out in the garden nearly every late morning. He has asked which brand of sunscreen is best for the kids. There have been lots of quality scare in made in China products, he and his wife have been very careful in selecting the right products and food for their only daughter.
So this is how the Banana Boat Kids Suncreen Lotion started. With my suggestion, I offered to buy this and sent over to them in China, Shanghai. My daughter used this regularly. Singapore is at the equator so it is Summer ( 25 degree to 33 degree ) all year long. So Sunscreen is best used when every day and especially when outdoor.
Day One : Off the shelve this bright yellow tube goes, into the plastic bag after being paid at the cashier. Tug inside my computer bag, it waited for the chance to be passed to someone whom may be travelling from Singapore to Shanghai.
Day Two/ Three / Four: It was left in my computer bags for a few days as no one was travelling this week to Shanghai then.
Day Five/Six: Weekend came and passed
Day Seven : Chance upon an opportunity offered by my manager. Wow! Thank God, she is going to Shanghai office for a meeting. Favour asked and she gladly voluntered to pass the tube of lotion to my friend.

Day Eight : Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen Lotion locked in the luggage checked into through the customs. Board the Singapore Airline plane, underneath the cargo space in the cold high attitude sky. Landed onto the scorching hot Summer Shanghai airport, on the road to the hotel. Unpack into the computer bag, ready to be passed over to the identified owner.
Day Nine:A day passed, my manager called from Shanghai. YAn Jun has not claimed his prize. She is leaving Shanghai back home. So she left the tube to another manager. I gave Yan Jun a call and asked him to collect from this manager working in the same Shanghai office.
Day Ten : Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen landed onto Yan Jun’s manager’s hand. He brought home as it was end of the working day. Back it goes to the computer bag.
Day Eleven : Day light now, early in the morning, sitting onto Yan Jun’s desk is the Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen Lotion with its 10 days adventure from Singapore to Shanghai.
I hope Yan Jun’s daughter, Apple, will love this lotion. It can help to solve Yan Jun’s concern.
