Ebay, an Alternative for Excess or Clearence ?
Posted: October 28, 2007Finally the house moving is over. Our family have spent the entire 4 days packing and unpacking. It is also like a “Throw away all old things” kick in habit. I started to unpack those boxes which have not been touched for more than 6 months or more. Lots of items needs to be given away or thrown away. Old flower pots broken, rusted metal bars for hanging clothes, old clothings that are too small for my girl. Lots of corporate T-Shirts(worn during all the demo events and special team building.Well, I never knew I have so much rubbish in my house till I started to dig into those closet and boxes.
However, some memorial items which I thought was lost or hidden was found again. Sammi’s first day pictures taken at the hopsital. She is so adorable though she looked all red and tiny like a tiny lobster. But her eyes are wide open. The photographer has mistaken her socks as her mittens and took her photos with socks in her hands! Definitely a classic which I have to keep in my treasure box.
I counted and found that our family have nearly over 800 pieces of video and DVDs. I did not realise that I have been such a TV bug. Starting a neighbourhood Video and DVD rental library sounds like a good idea now.
I have a habit to buy things (small ornaments) from the places I travelled. I have accumulated so many postcards and such ornaments. I realised I do not have any place to display them. Items from India (different states), from China (different states), from Europe( Different countries- Holland, UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switerland), from Australia, From Malaysia, From Thailand, From Vietnam, From Indonesia Bali, From Sri Lanka, From Russia, From America ( Yes I still have a extreme large painting bought from one of the art musuem).
I was thinking maybe I start start selling these on ebay soon. What do you think ? Anyone interested to see what I have in store ?
