Reverse Spelling

This is what my child is doing in her 6 years old Shichida Method. I wonder how reverse spelling helps her left and right brain. But anyway, she seems to enjoy spelling more now.
First, she look at the word and start spelling it in the normal way. I asked her to do reverse spelling. She looked at the words which is on a sheet of paper, flipped the paper over and start spelled it backwards. After a few words, I realized that her power to absorb and spell the words the right way and the reverse way is pretty fast.
Anything that can keep my child interest in spelling, I will be willing to try. So I am pretty happy that this method is working.
