Time to Sup
Tails all up,

Things to eat,
Good and sweet.
Dabble!Dabble!Dabble!
Like a Clown,
Heads all down
Feet and tails a Quiver.
Sakes alive!
See them dive
In the whirly river.
Tails all up
Time to sup

There they go
Down beow.

I could hardly remember if my daughter had a chance to get near to a real, life duck ! I do want her to experience real duck reared or flying wild in the air. I have seen real ducks and goose in my uncle farm. However, in these modern days and city in Singapore, you cannot see one unless it is in the kiddy zoo or special farm !
Oh now I remembered, the last we see some real life ducks was in a car travelling from Shanghai to off city town. We passed by some rural area and a duck farm where we see them swimming in a pond. However, it was in the car that my daughter seen the scene. Too bad, she does not have the experience to smell and touch and enjoy it ! Alright for those paranoid parents, H5N1 virus in the chicken and duck ! Yes I knew you will say so. But isn’t it ridiculous that future generation will only see ducks in Supermarket or pieces of meat with skin served on the plates only ? Beijing Roasted Duck at least is served complete unlike in America. ( no head, no bones etc ) The duck the city children see is only in the books. Sigh….
