Using letters in your name to describe yourself.
Things you need : Paper, marker or pen
This activity helps to expand a child’s vocabulary and grasp of begining word sounds.
Ask the child to think of a word begining with each letter of his or her first name. Tell the child that each word should be one that describes him or her. Using the name Cathi as example, the child might pick up the words:
Cute
Adorable
Terrific
Happy
Interesting
It can be entertaining to hear the words a child will use to describe himself or herself
